Itineraries

Day 01: Kathmandu (1,300M) – Kerung (2000m): 160KM

Morning you will drive to the Nepal- Tibet border (5-6 hours) with the scenic view of beautiful countryside. After necessary border formalities and meeting over the Tibetan guide; drive to Kerung. O/N at Guesthouse.

Day 02: Kerung – Xegar (4300M): 252KM - Shigatse (3,950M): 224KM

After breakfast in the morning, drive to Xegar where you can enjoy the beautiful view of Mt. Xisapangma (8,212M) and Mt. Cho- Oyu (8,201M)  and continue to drive to Shigatse. O/N at Hotel.

Day 03: Shigatse – Gyantse (3,950M): 90KM- Lhasa (3,650M): 261KM

In the morning; visit Panchen Lama’s Tashilompo Monastery and drive to Gyantse, visit Khumbula Stupa and Phalkhor Monastery. And continue to drive to Lhasa via Yamdrok Lake. O/N at Hotel.

Day 04/05: Two full days sightseeing in Holy city Lhasa:

Visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Sera Monastery, Drepung Monastery, and Barkhor Market O/N Hotel. B/B

Day 06: Lhasa – Kathmandu or Mainland China by flight/train

Finally, your unforgettable Shortest tour ends; Departure to the Gongar Airport or train station and fly to Kathmandu or mainland China (Beijing/Chengdu).
