Drive to Gyantse via Yamadroke Lake and high passes: Kora LA (5,010m) & Kamba La (4,794m) Sight-seeing in Gyantse including Pholkor & Kumbum Monastery. PM: scenic drive to Xigatse (1.5hrs) through the typical Tibetan Countryside.
Overnight at the Hotel in Shigatse.
AM: Visit Panchen Lama’s Tashilhumpu Monastery. Then Drive to Xegar crossing over Gyatchula (a pass of 5,200m), and drive to Rongbuk. The last 90KM drive from Shegar to Rongbuk is rough and takes about two hours to reach.
Overnight at the basic guesthouse in Rongbuk.
Please read: Sometimes, a visit/hike to Everest Base Camp can be prohibited and visitors should see it from the distance. Make sure to check with the tour operator before booking this trip.
Rent a horse cart or walk to the Everest BC and explore around – back to Rongbuk – Drive back to Tingri and further to Kerung/Gyirong border with the magnificent view of the Mt. Xishapagma (8,212m) & Mt. Cho Oyu (8,201m).

After necessary border formalities at the Tibet-Nepal border, continue a scenic drive to Kathmandu through the green lush countryside- transfer to your Hotel. Our representative will be waiting for you at the border Nepal side. And continue to drive to Kathmandu (7 hrs).
