Itineraries


Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu [Altitude: 1400m] D.

Upon arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu. Welcome by our team and Transfer to the hotel, Brief about the program. If you are landing during the day, you will have spectacular mountain views of the Himalaya before you land.

Welcome Dinner is provided at one of the authentic restaurants

Day 02: Full Day sightseeing Tour in Kathmandu. B.L.D.

Visit Swoyambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, and Boudhanath.

After a good breakfast, our guide comes to meet you at the hotel and we proceed for the day sightseeing in Kathmandu. We will visit the following places:

The Swoyambhunath Stupa:  A famous pilgrimage site for Buddhists, is situated on a beautiful hill. It is a holy Stupa among the ancient Buddhist Mahachaitya of the Kathmandu valley. It is situated atop a hill that could be observed from almost every part of Kathmandu valley. The tourists call the Stupa ‘Monkey Temple’ as there are many monkeys living around the place.

 

The Kathmandu Durbar square: one of the three major palace areas of Kathmandu valley, is an ancient palace that carries significant historical importance. Compared to the other palaces squares in Bhaktapur and Lalitpur, this is the largest and possesses the finest examples of Newari craftsmanship on its temples monuments, and palace buildings built by different kings. Also, you will meet Living Goddess ‘Kumari’ inside Kathmandu Durbar Square premises.

 

The Pashupatinath Temple: Located at Gaushala, Deupatan area of Kathmandu, is a major pilgrimage site for the Hindus. According to the religious scriptures, Lord Pashupatinath is worshiped as the protective deity of the Hindus.

 

The Boudhanath Stupa: A very important religious site for the followers of Buddhism. It is located northeast from the Kathmandu city center. The Stupa is regarded as the center of faith for the Buddhists. The entire area is known as Boudha. This is also considered as the largest Stupa in Nepal.

Day 03: Drive Kathmandu to Bandipur [150 KM, 4-5 hrs] [Altitude 1030m] B.L.D.

After the good breakfast of the hotel in Kathmandu, we drive to Bandipur. The total distance of today’s drive is about 150 kilometers and it takes about four to five hours. Bandipur is a hill station that has retained its age-old cultural attributes, temples, shrines, sacred caves, and innumerable festivals.

Day 04: Drive Bandipurto Pokhara [80km, 2-3hr] [Altitude 915 m) B.L.D.

After breakfast at the hotel, we drive to Pokhara, a short drive for a couple of hours; you reach the tourist hub Pokhara. Pokhara lies at an altitude of 915 meters above sea level and it is a city of Lakes in central Nepal. Also, Pokhara is the gateway to Annapurna Base Camp and another popular trail in the Himalaya. Phewa Lake, Bararhi temple, Sarangkot, 2-story pagoda are the main highlights of Pokhara city.

This day, you will boat around Phewa lake and have free time for self-explore around Lakeside in the evening.

Day 05: Sunrise from Sarangkot (1700m) and Pokhara Sightseeing | B.L.D.

Early morning sunrise view from Sarangkot from the altitude of 1700 meters above sea level. About half an hour’s drive from the hotel early in the morning before sunrise, you will reach to Sarangkot to enjoy the stunning views of the Annapurna massif including the Fishtail and Pokhara valley view. On the way back to the hotel to have breakfast, visit Bindabasini Temple en-route.

After breakfast, take a short drive to World Peace Stupa and visit Davis fall and back to the hotel.

Evening: free time for self-explore around Phewa Lake

Day 06: Drive Pokhara to Lumbini via Tansen | B.L.D.

From Pokhara, we will drive towards the Lumbini via Tansen. We can drive for several hours through the hilly road to reach the Lumbini – the birthplace of the Lord Buddha. Lumbini is the Buddhist pilgrimage site. According to Buddhist traditions, Queen Mahamayadevi gave birth to Siddhartha Gautam in 563 B.C who became Buddha after the enlightenment.

The night will be near Lumbini at one of the local hotels or lodges. All meals are included.

Day 07: Lumbini Sightseeing | B.L.D.

Today we will wake up early in the morning and after having breakfast we will begin our visit to the Lumbini. We can visit the important archeological places of the Lumbini where we can enjoy the great view of the sacred birthplace of Lord Buddha. Besides, we can also visit the museum which will enable us to know more about Buddhism and other several things related to Lord Buddha and his ancient history. Similarly, we can visit different places in the Lumbini in our leisure time.

Day 08: Drive Lumbini to Chitwan [155KM, 4-5hrs] [Altitude 150m] B.L.D.

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Chitwan, the distance from Lumbini to Chitwan is about 155 Kilometers and the total drive takes about four to five hours.

  • Sightseeing tour in Chitwan (visit Tharu village, Elephant stable, visitor center & sunset viewpoint)
  • Cultural program (Tharu stick dance)

Day 09: Full Day Excursion in Chitwan National Park | B.L.D.

A full day activity in Chitwan National Park

  • Jeep Safari (2-3 hours, there are 8 people in one Jeep Ride)
  • Canoe ride and sightseeing around

Overnight at the hotel/resort in Sauraha Chitwan, all meals are included.

Day 10: Drive Chitwan to Nagarkot via KTM [180 KM, 5-6 hours] [Altitude: 2195m] B.L.D.

After breakfast, drive to Kathmandu, the total distance of the drive to Nagarkot is about 180 Kilometers via Kathmandu and it takes about five to six hours. Transfer to Nagarkot

Day 11: Drive Nagarkot to Kathmandu via Bhaktapur & Patan DS | B.L.D.

Full day sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur durbar square and Patan Durbar Squares

Bhaktapur Durbar Square: BDS  is one of the major tourist attractions of Kathmandu valley. It served as the Capital of Nepal during the Mall kingdom until 1769 AD. The courtyards, temples, palace buildings, statues, and monuments inside the square were constructed in different eras by Newari artists. Some of the major monuments and temples inside the Bhaktapur Durbar Square are the Golden Gate., 55- Window palace Big Bell, Dog barking Bell, Siddhilaxmi Temple, Taleju Bhawani Temple, Statue of King Bhupendra Mall, National art Gallery and Vatshala Temple and etc. In the Newari dialect, the Bhaktapur Durbar Square is known as “Layaku.”

 

Patan Durbar Square: PDS is the main attraction of the Lalitpur district. Enlisted in the UNESCO world heritage site, this courtyard has earned a distinct place for works in the field of arts and architecture that reflect on each temple, monument, and palace building that were mostly built during the Malla period between the 16th, 17th, and 18th century. The square offers myriad opportunities for visitors willing to study and research the artistic and architectural masterpieces, history, and culture of Lalitpur. Foreign visitors are required to buy tickets to enter the Durbar Square.

Day 12: Day trip to Chandragiri Hills (2551m) | OPTIONAL | B.L.D.

Today’s program is flexible and instead of the Chandragiri hill trip, you may choose any other trips around Kathmandu valley like hiking, pilgrimage trip to Dakshinkali, Chovar, Budalilakanta, and etc. However, it is requested to choose one program for the whole group.

You will drive to Chandragiri hills by CABLE CAR – Enjoy the scenic view of Kathmandu valley and mountains. Spend some time in the hills and back to Hotel.

Day 13: Rest Day in Kathmandu | B.

This day, we provide you breakfast and let you have a free day in Kathmandu. You can relax; go for a massage, shopping, and etc.

Our staff will help you with any kind of activity on request, please feel free to ask.

Lunch and Dinner are on your own. We let you choose your own dishes on your own expenses.

Day 14: Depart from Kathmandu. B

Finally, the tour ends with full of Nepal’s great memories. Depending on your departure flight time, we will transfer you to the airport for your final flight back home.
