After reaching Lukla, commence the trek. Walking for one hour before stopping for lunch from Lukla to Phakding is very easy and gentle; this 3-hour short trek mostly takes you through local villages and alongside the Dudh Koshi River. On reaching: Enter into (2,610m/8,563ft) by following the riverbank of Dudh Koshi up to Phakding.
Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,286ft), a bustling Sherpa village and the commercial hub of the Khumbu region. This segment involves crossing several suspension bridges and a steady ascent through the forest. Namche Bazaar is an ideal place for acclimatization.
