Itineraries


Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon arrival, meet and greet by our representative. Drive to the hotel; meet the guide and get briefed about the Gosaikunda Trek.

Day 2: Trek preparation (Sightseeing optional with extra fee)

Trek preparation Day for the Permits, TIMS, and shopping for the trekking.

Optional with extra cost:

Full-Day Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley, visit Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swoyambhunath Temple, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. In the evening – do some last hour shopping for the trek.

Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Syburbesi/Dhunche (1950m) | 6-7 hours drive

Your day starts early in the morning. After breakfast, you will go to the bus station and drive to Dhunche through a beautiful village and you will see snow-capped mountain along the Langtang Himal. The total drive from Kathmandu to  Dhunche is about seven hours.  Dhunche is the starting point of the Gosaikunda Trek and also headquarter of the Rasuwa District.

Day 4: Trek to Chandanwari | Elevation: 3580 meters | Drive hours: 4-5

After breakfast, you will start your trek for Deurali. You will have some rest at Deurali and start your trek to Chandanwari. You will visit Singomap and the famous Cheese factory in Chandanwari.

Stay overnight at Chandanwari.

Day 5: Trek Chandanwari to Gosaikunda | Elevation: 4380 meters | Drive hours: 6-7

After breakfast at Chandanwari, you will start your trek with an ascend until you reach Cholangiopathy and trek further onward to Lauribine. This is the most difficult part of this Gasaikunda Via Dhunche Trek. You can also explore the 108 lakes and visit the magnificent Gosaikunda Lake.

You can also take a dip in the Gosakunda lake because people believe that dipping in the holy lake washes off their sins. You will see mighty mountains surround the lake from all sides and enjoy the sunsets and sunrises from the Lake. You will also visit the other lakes near Gosaikunda are Bhairav Kunda, Bagkunda, and Surakunda.

Day 6: Trek back from Gosaikunda to Dhunche

After breakfast, you will trek back to the same way you come yesterday. Enjoying the magnificent views of Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung, and Manaslu mountains, you will reach Dhunche and overnight at a guesthouse in Dhunche.

Day 7: Drive back to Kathmandu from Dhunche

You will drive back to Kathmandu by private transportation.

Day 8: Departure

Depending on your flight time, our team will transfer you to the airport for your final departure home.
