During the course of the Langtang Valley trek, you trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3800m), it definitely worth to hike up Kyanjin Ri (4350m)– it only takes about two to three hours to reach the top to enjoy the panoramic views of the Langtang Valley and surrounding snow-capped Himalayan Vistas.
Langtang Trek – 11 Days is the most popular trekking in the impressive Langtang Valley. You could get to the vast snow-capped mountains from Kathmandu valley next door. The Langtang valley is situated only about 60km north of Kathmandu, close to the border of Tibet. The valley is dominated by Langtang Lirung (7246m), the highest mountain in this area. This is an excellent introduction to trekking in Nepal, among some of the fascinating sceneries in the whole country.
Langtang Trek– 11 Days takes you to cross through the Langtang valley forest to the alpine fields and yak territories around Kyangjin Gompa. After the ascent of Kyangjin Ri, from where you can see the mountain views at 360 stunning degrees, we repeat our trail back down the valley to Syabru Besi and trek a picturesque drive to Kathmandu.
Langtang Trek – 11 Days goes towards the base of Langtang mountain, north of Kathmandu valley, presents the shortest destination to snowy peaks from Kathmandu. The Langtang trek begins from Sybru Besi after a 7-8 hours drive from Kathmandu. Passing a route upstream Bhote Koshi river through ethnic Tamang communities, lush green forests, and the widespread Kyangin Valley bounded by snowy mountains from all fours sides brings you up to Kyangjin at 3800m, where you get an opportunity to hike Kyangjin Ri (4350m), from where the 360-degree scenic mountain views are panoramic. After an ascent of Kyangjin Ri, we return over our trail down the valley to Syabru Besi and drive back to Kathmandu. Due to ascending along the river valley, this Langtang trek – 11 days is not considered strenuous. Yet, it remains complex as it approaches an elevation of 3800m at Kyangjin and Kyangjin Ri (4350m). This Langtang Trek is completed at any time of the year during the monsoon season (June-Aug). The average walk for the trek is 5-6 hours a day.
The devastating earthquake in April 2015 severely impacted this region; some trails are damaged and need to be found in alternative ways. However, most of the tracks have been recovered already.

Nepal & Bhutan: Visiting Nepal and Bhutan at the same time is ideal as they share a similar climate. From high mountains to low land sub-tropical plains and jungles, the two countries have similar weather. The best time to visit is from March to April (spring) and October to December (autumn and early winter). During these months, the air is clean and fresh with sunny skies. January and February are colder months, while June, July, and August (summer) are typically monsoon seasons.
Tibet: It is best to visit Tibet between April and October when the weather is warm and the skies are clear. However, from November to March, it is still possible to explore certain areas like Namtso, Everest Base Camp, and Mount Kailash, as long as the roads are not blocked by snow. Temperatures during this time may be quite cold.
